INFORMATION DURING COVID19
Please allow additional time for your appointment when booking during the COVID19 pandemic. Beauty Skin Deep Cosmetics Ltd wishes to share the following information with you prior to booking an appointment. We will be delighted to hear from you if you have any questions:
"Coronaviruses are common across the world. COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China in December 2019. For the fit and healthy, It remains a mild illness, however it is important to limit the spread to protect the health and wellbeing of the whole population. The staff and clinicians at the clinic take the responsibility to protect your health seriously. With this in mind, we have instituted the following measures. In line with current Governement Guidelines on Keeping Workers and Clients Safe During Covid-19 in Close Contact Services.
1. Pre Treatment Screening.
- Patients will be pre health screened and the nurse will asked questions around the risk of exposure to COVID19.
- Have you had a recent fever?
- I can confirm i have not suffered from shortness of breath?
- I can confirm that i am not suffering from loss of sense of smell or taste?
- Have i suffered from a new headache, in addition to any of the above symptoms?
- I can confirm i have not had a dry cough?
- I can confirm i have not had a sore throat?
- I can confirm that i have not had a runny nose?
- Have i been exposed to anyone who has been confirmed as having covid19 in the last 14 days?
- Have i been isolating in the last 14 days?
- Do you suffer from any conditions such as severe arthritis, severe IBD, severe asthma taking oral steriods, heart condition or auto immune condition, MS which would place you in a shielding group?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions we would advise you not to go ahead with this treatment.
2. CLINIC INFECTION AND CONTROL MEASURES
We aim to space appointments to allow for frequent cleaning of work areas and equipment between uses, using our usual cleaning products as recommended by the keep work places safe document covid19. Work surfaces will be cleaned down between each customer including examination beds and the use of examination roll on beds is standard practice at our clinic. Rooms will be well ventilated to allow for change in fresh air.
Small key points will be cleaned regularly door hands, ipads, or card machines for card payments will be cleaned after each use. We ask customers to use alcohol gel on entering the clinic. This will be available in the waiting area. Also to use alcohol gel before your treatment. We also kindly encourage you to attend the clinic wearing face coverings where possible. Upon examination with the nurse the face covering will be removed and also for your treatment. Gloves worn by patients are not necessary. Face coverings are necessary to reduce the spread of undetected COVID19 where 1-2 metre can not be maintained, we aim to keep you safe by also keeping rooms well ventilated. During your treatment the nurse will be wearing a visor or googles.
3 CLINIC POLICIES
- Only the patient can attend the appointment.
- Social distancing is required where possible, following the one way system. Patients will enter through the waiting room and leave through the exit, in order to minimse contact with other patients.
- All patients to use hand gel on entering, before treatment and on leaving.
- Patient is soley responsible for ensuring that the information provided to beauty skin deep cosmetics Ltd is accurate. Beauty skin deep cosmetics ltd are not liable should information be witheld.
- We ask that you allow a gap of up to 4 weeks between dermal filler treatments and your covid vaccination, as there is a risk of a inflammatory reaction.
- Waiting area is reduced to one person and no overlaping of appointments.
- We will display our COVID19 government risk assessment.
- Magazine will be removed from the clinic.
- We will be able to give leaflets on treatments upon request but you must take these home with you.
4. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
During your appointment we will ask you to wear a face mask. Where you are not able to maintain 2 metre distance the nurse will wear a visor and face covering, during your facial assessment where 2 metres can not be maintained. Facial visors will also be used throughout your treatment. These are cleaned down between each patient.
There will also be plastic disposal aprons changed between each patient. Face coverings will be changed when these become moist, as per government PPE guidelines. The nurse will change her uniform, before leaving the clinic. All clinical uniforms are washed at 60 degrees to kill bacteria. New disposal gloves will be don for each procedure carried out in line with current infection control procedures.
5. TEST AND TRACE
Your GDPR will be up dated to be compliant with sharing of information, consent to share with the test and trace servie for COVID19 will be discussed during our consultation.
