Alisa values safety in practice as the core principle of her work. These are the infection control measures we follow at every appointment.
Before your treatment
Every client has a health screening and consultation with the nurse before any treatment. Please make sure the information you give us is accurate and complete - you are responsible for it, and we cannot be held liable if information is withheld.
A clean clinic
- Appointments are spaced to allow work areas and equipment to be cleaned between clients.
- Work surfaces, including the examination couch, are cleaned after every client, and disposable couch roll is standard practice.
- Door handles, iPads and card machines are cleaned after each use.
- Treatment rooms are well ventilated.
- Alcohol hand gel is available in the waiting area - please use it when you arrive and before your treatment.
Protective equipment
- New disposable gloves are worn for every procedure, in line with current infection control guidance.
- Disposable aprons are changed between each client.
- The nurse changes out of her uniform before leaving the clinic, and all clinical uniforms are washed at 60 degrees to kill bacteria.
